Description

The Easy-wire mode simplifies the process of connecting components, reducing the number of clicks needed and minimizing user frustration. With unit-aware expression evaluation, you can easily visualize various signals of interest, including differential signals and power losses. The in-browser simulation and plotting tools enable quicker design and analysis, ensuring your circuit operates correctly even before you start soldering. Advanced simulation features offer options like frequency-domain (small signal) simulations, the ability to vary circuit parameters across a specified range, and integration of arbitrary Laplace transfer function blocks, among other capabilities. Handling multiple signals is made seamless with customizable plotting windows, along with vertical and horizontal markers for precise measurements and calculations. Additionally, you can easily create generic rectangular symbols for integrated circuits or system-level wiring diagrams with just a few effortless clicks, enhancing your overall design experience. This user-friendly approach allows engineers and designers to focus on creativity rather than get bogged down by complex processes.

Description

CircuitSim is a comprehensive SPICE circuit simulation tool featuring a library of over 3,000 components and a contemporary schematic editor, all accessible online for free without the need for installation. Designed for use by students, educators, and professionals alike, it operates directly in a web browser, making it compatible with Chromebooks and secured school laptops without requiring administrative access. Users can perform seven types of analyses, including interactive and transient analyses, with results displayed on oscilloscope-style graphs and the ability to place probes at any point in the circuit. Additionally, users can create custom components from SPICE model text or import symbols from KiCad, enriching the simulation experience. CircuitSim also supports the import of Multisim Live designs before its scheduled retirement on September 15, 2026, making it a unique browser-based solution that can handle .csim, .ms14, and .msjs files, preserving wiring, component placement, net labels, probes, and simulation configurations. Furthermore, classroom licensing options are available, providing features such as seat assignments, anonymous student seating, and private student project spaces to enhance the educational experience. This ensures that educators can effectively manage their classroom environments while leveraging advanced simulation tools.
