Description
Censible is an online platform designed for analyzing Australian Census data, allowing users to access demographic and household statistics for various regions, including suburbs, councils, postcodes, and statistical areas, or to create custom boundaries for specific locations. It integrates data from the 2011, 2016, and 2021 Censuses according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics' 2026 boundaries, ensuring that each statistic is linked to its original ABS source. This platform is beneficial for assessing locations, conducting market research, planning for property and retail, analyzing investments, and preparing reports for consultancies and local councils. Users have the flexibility to explore data directly in their web browsers, utilize it in reports, or access it via an API. Additionally, an MCP server allows the Censible data to be used by compatible AI assistants. Looking ahead, Censible is set to incorporate each release of the 2026 Census as the ABS makes it available, with updates commencing in June 2027. This commitment to updating the data ensures that users have access to the most current information for their analyses.
