Description
Captions is an AI video editing and generation platform that helps users turn raw footage or prompts into finished videos with minimal manual editing. Its AI Edit feature can process an entire video at once by selecting cuts, adding B-roll, applying transitions, inserting music, and styling the content according to a chosen visual format. Users can also direct edits with natural-language prompts through a text-based editing interface. Captions includes automatic subtitle generation with customizable caption styles and supports translation and subtitling across more than 100 languages. The platform can correct inconsistent eye contact, remove background noise, trim pauses and filler words, and generate royalty-free music or sound effects. AI avatar tools allow users to choose digital actors or create a reusable AI twin for producing videos without recording new footage each time. Avatars can be modified through prompts to change elements such as clothing, backgrounds, and product placements. Captions supports a wide range of content types including social media posts, advertisements, tutorials, talking-head videos, podcast clips, product demonstrations, and AI-generated UGC. The platform is designed for creators, marketers, businesses, agencies, educators, and other users who want to produce polished video content without relying on traditional editing workflows.
Description
Tesseract is an agent-native video editing and motion graphics engine developed by Mirage. It allows AI agents to work directly with professional video concepts including timelines, keyframes, adjustment layers, compositions, typography, timing, effects, footage, and audio. Instead of translating a video project into web technologies such as HTML or React, Tesseract maintains an editable native creative project that agents can manipulate directly. Users can provide footage, reference materials, and a creative brief, then ask an agent to assemble, preview, revise, and render the finished video. The platform supports motion graphics, compositing, animated typography, easing, audio adjustments, and layer-specific revisions within the same project. Tesseract can also let an agent build custom editing controls for elements such as timing, typography, color, framing, and aspect ratio. The runtime operates locally on macOS, Windows, and Linux, with the user’s own computer handling previews and rendering. Tesseract integrates with supported agent environments including ChatGPT and Claude and offers documented interfaces for developers building their own integrations or editors. The engine is free for local use and supports exports up to 4K at 60 FPS, with separate costs applying only to the AI agent or model being used.
