SCN is a non-profit organisation and will always be privately owned. It is based on the sociocracy principles, so that all employees and customers are a part of the CHARMS Community and its growth and progress. Fostering Connect serves as a comprehensive communication and administration platform tailored for fostering agencies, foster carers, and social workers. The mobile application enables carers to easily create and submit daily logs via text or voice, save drafts for later completion, and communicate through messages and voice notes with agency personnel. Additionally, users can review, e-sign documents, register for training sessions, manage appointments, submit expense claims, and upload photos and notes that contribute to a child's life narrative. Carers also have access to agency-specific handbooks and a variety of resources through a customizable knowledge base. On the agency side, the administrative platform facilitates the review of carer logs, monitors document completion, manages training registrations and attendance, oversees expense evaluations, generates reports, and streamlines case-management workflows while managing user permissions. Designed for both iOS and Android, Fostering Connect aims to enhance routine communication and efficient record-keeping among carers, social workers, and agency teams, ultimately improving the overall fostering experience.
