ip·Solis serves as a comprehensive, self-hosted solution for managing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, integrating self-service capabilities and automation to bridge the gap between a CMDB, IAM/HR systems, and provisioning runbooks. Through a user-friendly self-service portal that utilizes Entra ID SSO, employees can easily request Virtual Desktop Instances (VDIs), shared desktops, Software as a Service (SaaS), or any other IT asset, while managers can approve these requests with a single click, incorporating features like multi-approver quorums, conditional rules, and delegation for out-of-office scenarios. Chained PowerShell 7 runbooks facilitate automated provisioning, interfacing seamlessly with Active Directory, SCCM, XenServer, and VMware. The platform ensures comprehensive asset management throughout their entire lifecycle, including options for pooled or personal assignments, quota management, expiration tracking, and recycling workflows. Built-in compliance measures include access certification aligned with standards such as ISO 27001, SOX, and PCI, an append-only audit log, SCIM 2.0 support, and automated leaver processes through HR webhooks.
