This SBC provides robust session border control, signaling mediation, call routing, and sophisticated media server functionalities, effectively catering to the evolving demands of VoIP and Next Generation Networks (NGN). Among its notable features are the Cluster Configuration Manager (CCM) for centralized management of multiple SBCs, integrated support for announcements and transcoding directly on the device, and the ability to record calls using SIPREC. Additionally, the ABC SBC bolsters network security through mechanisms such as rate limiting, content control, topology hiding, and media management, which collectively mitigate risks of fraud and denial-of-service attacks. Furthermore, it is capable of handling up to 5,000 concurrent calls on standard hardware and provides load balancing for VoIP traffic, making it a highly effective tool in modern communication infrastructures.
