OwlCAD is a fully online parametric 3D CAD editing tool designed specifically for individuals creating parts for 3D printing. It effectively bridges the gap between entry-level software that users may outgrow and advanced professional CAD applications that require installation, user accounts, and a steep learning curve.
With OwlCAD, every dimension remains adjustable, allowing for seamless model updates whenever a value is modified, which eliminates the need for redoing work. The software ensures that booleans are manifold by default, so when you export your designs, you won't encounter any leftover ghost geometry in your slicer. Furthermore, it offers clearance presets tailored for press, slip, and loose fits, ensuring that holes are appropriately sized for FDM printing, while a printability check highlights overhangs, flags thin walls, and verifies watertightness before export.
