Description
AudioRoute allows you to effortlessly capture any sound your Mac or Windows device is producing—be it from a browser stream, a virtual meeting on Zoom or Teams, a softsynth demonstration, or a reference track—and seamlessly route it into your DAW or save it as a WAV file, all without the need for aggregate devices, virtual cables, or configuring Audio MIDI Setup.
With a single installation, you gain access to three distinct capture options: a VST3, AU, and AAX plug-in that can be easily placed on a track within any DAW such as Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig, or FL Studio; a virtual input device that functions as a standard microphone in any audio recording application like Audacity, OBS, Zoom, Discord, or QuickTime; and a straightforward one-click recorder located in the menu bar or system tray that can directly save audio to a WAV file without needing to open a DAW.
The software leverages OS-native capture methods using macOS Core Audio process taps and Windows WASAPI process loopback, which means there are no kernel extensions involved, ensuring that your speakers, audio interface, and existing audio routing continue to operate as they always have. Additionally, it features built-in feedback protection that prevents your DAW's output from being inadvertently re-captured, making it a reliable tool for all your audio recording needs. You can now focus on your creative process without worrying about the technical complexities of audio routing.
Description
Podium is a contemporary digital audio workstation (DAW) designed for Windows users. It provides functionalities for recording and editing both audio and MIDI, as well as the capability to host VST instrument and effect plugins. To utilize Podium effectively, you must set up the audio and MIDI interfaces you intend to work with. On the MIDI interface settings page, simply check the boxes for all the interfaces you wish to incorporate. For optimal low-latency performance, it is strongly advised to choose an ASIO audio driver on the audio configuration page. Upon your initial launch of Podium, the default setting will be to build and load the plugin database. When you initiate a new project, Podium will scan and compile a list of all detected plugins. In subsequent projects, the default will change to loading the existing plugin database, streamlining the process and eliminating the need for repetitive scanning. Should you have added new plugins since the last database build, you can opt to either rebuild or update the database to ensure all your plugins are recognized. This flexibility makes Podium a user-friendly choice for audio production.
