Live organizes multiple audio or MIDI performances into individual takes. Take the best parts of each performance and combine them into your perfect take. You can also take a different approach to sound design by mixing random samples from your collection. To edit multiple tracks simultaneously, link them. This allows you to edit multi-tracked performances or instruments with multiple musicians quickly and efficiently, while keeping everything in sync across tracks. This feature is also available for MIDI tracks. Plug in your MPE-capable control and instantly add pressure, bends, and slides for each note in a chord. You can create subtle expression variations, morph between chords, and create evolving sonic textures. MPE stands for MIDI Polyphonic Express. MPE-capable devices can control multiple parameters for each note in real time, allowing them to create more expressive instrumental performances.

    Summary: Ableton Live is the Best choice for electronic producers, DJs and for Live performance. I just don't see how other DAWs Excel in workflow than Ableton Live.

    Positive: Ableton Live has a very Simple and Easy Workflow. A few clicks and you get your job done. It's intuitive.

    Negative: I have tried but I just don't seem to have any major dislike for Ableton Live. The only minor suggestion is to be able to disable startup scan of vst plugins in the preferences.

    Fully featured but expensive DAW

    Summary: Ableton Live has a great feature set, including some features not available with cheaper products like Reaper. However, those features come with a very steep price tag.
