Description
Answer Monitor provides real-time tracking of how various AI engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, reference, cite, and recommend your brand. It analyzes actual questions posed by customers, documents which domains are cited by each engine, identifies instances of ghost citations (where your URL appears without your brand being mentioned), and compares your brand's citation share to that of competitors over time. Developed by Zion Labs, a firm specializing in SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) based in Brooklyn, NY, this tool is part of a broader array of complimentary AI-visibility resources. These include the Retrieval Readiness Score, which evaluates a site's readiness across nine dimensions; the AI Crawler Audit, assessing which AI bots are allowed or blocked by your robots.txt; the Answerability Score, which rates quotability on a scale of 0-100 for individual pages; the Chunk Previewer, illustrating how retrieval systems divide your content; and the Entity Check, which verifies recognition by Wikidata and the Google Knowledge Graph. Additionally, the suite features tools for identifying citation gaps, checking ghost citations, and evaluating AI citation share. All these free tools do not require any login and can deliver results in a matter of seconds.
