Description
Aldoa is a contemporary operating system designed specifically for firms involved in construction materials testing and geotechnical work, aiming to unify and enhance workflows related to field operations, laboratory processes, project management, financial oversight, scheduling, and reporting within a single integrated platform. By utilizing this system, teams can effectively minimize backlogs, elevate the quality of their data, and speed up the process from field assessments to the delivery of final outputs. Field technicians benefit from the ability to gather standardized information on any mobile device through user-friendly forms, including options for photos, notes, signatures, digital site maps, and speech-to-text functionality, all of which can be synced with the office in real time. In laboratories, teams can monitor samples and tests from the moment of intake to the final results, leverage field data without the need for re-entry, perform automatic calculations, and create graphs and figures seamlessly. Engineers and administrative personnel have the capability to review, modify, approve, and produce polished technical reports for clients using pre-filled data, established standards, digital signatures, templates, and automated reporting solutions. This holistic approach not only enhances efficiency but also fosters collaboration across various departments, ensuring a smoother workflow throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Description
Sol-load is a desktop application designed for geotechnical and structural engineers on the Windows platform, enabling the analysis of axial capacity and load-settlement behavior for individual piles situated in layered soil environments. It effectively computes both compression and uplift capacities by utilizing various methodologies, including API, USACE, and FHWA (Nordlund and Tomlinson), as well as Revised Lambda and several CPT-based approaches such as NGI, ICP, UWA, and Fugro, while providing nominal, ASD, or LRFD design values. The software employs nonlinear load-transfer analysis by generating shaft t-z and tip Q-w curves either from user-supplied soil data or predefined inputs. Additionally, the application addresses various workflows for driven piles and drilled shafts, incorporating factors like negative skin friction and neutral-plane evaluations, along with the analysis of CPT soundings and comparisons to actual pile load-test results. Users can easily export detailed reports in multiple formats, including PDF, Word, and Excel, accommodating both SI and US customary units for versatility. Designed for Windows 10/11, it operates with an online licensing system and allows for up to 30 days of offline functionality. Furthermore, users can take advantage of a complimentary 7-day trial period to explore the application's capabilities before committing to a purchase.
