Description
An application within Accengage serves as a detailed guide for your support and encompasses all the essential information needed to direct notifications effectively. Regardless of whether you're utilizing an iOS or Android platform, it is imperative to first enable the appropriate push service (APNs, C2D, or GCM) to leverage Accengage's functionalities. To initiate the creation of a new application, please reach out to the Project Manager associated with your account to submit your request. Upon approval, the support team will proceed to establish the requested application(s), which you can later modify to incorporate additional details. For iOS applications, you have the option to indicate if you possess a push development certificate or a Sandbox APNs certificate by simply checking the relevant box. In order to collect tokens from your app users, you will need to enter the login credentials provided with your SDK, specifically your Partner ID and Private Key. After you have completed filling out your application details, you can then submit your form to finalize the application creation process. The status indicator will inform you whether the connection to APN, C2DM, or the more recent GCM was established successfully or if any issues occurred. This process ensures that your application is set up correctly to communicate with users effectively.
