Thanks to the Gaming-Age forum regulars for pointing to info on the EB Games site showing Microsoft's Xbox hardware bundle for Christmas, consisting of the online-friendly Star Wars: Clone Wars, Tetris Worlds, and 2 free months of Xbox Live, priced at $179. Meanwhile, GameInformer.com has a rumor (via unconfirmed sources) of a Zelda-related GameCube hardware bundle this Xmas, including "...a bonus disc that will include the following Zelda games and goodies: Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Zelda Documentary." While this GameCube bundle is still a rumor, new Player's Choice budget titles from Nintendo have been officially confirmed, including (from September 25th) Metroid Prime, Animal Crossing, and Super Mario Sunshine for $29.99, and Star Fox Adventures, Pikmin, and Luigi's Mansion for $19.99.

We put up the original call for questions on September 5. Jamie's travel schedule (mentioned in one of his answers) is so hectic that it is amazing he found time to answer these questons at all. But answer he did, in detail. It's going to be interesting to see how Jamie's take on tech-oriented lobbying compares with that of "commercial" lobbyist Morgan Reed, whose interview responses we hope to see in the very near future.

stinkydog asks: "I am in the interesting position of developing a privacy policy for a parks and recreation department for a urban local government. I have watched with interest all the complaints about government and privacy and don't necessarily want my personal data on a billboard. One the flip side, I need to collect enough data to justify a several million dollar budget. Our management wants usage and regristration data down to the Census Block Group level to make decisions. We currently gather name, address, phone and age. For some Federal programs we also gather income level and number of childern in the home. If I put all this info in the same database am I providing good customer service or being intrusive? Where should I draw the line? I have been charged with creating an understandable, user-friendly policy on what we collect and how we use it (while fighting with the lawyers all the way I'm sure). Is this possible? " I think a better question is why a Park Service needs this kind of level of information about its users to justify its funding.

Two more presidential aspirants have sent answers to Slashdot questions: Republican Party candidate George W. Bush and Natural Law Party candidate John Hagelin. Not surprisingly, there are many issues on which they don't agree.

We've gotten no direct responses from either Gore or Bush, even though we sent our questions not only to their public e-mail addresses but also privately to their Webmasters (both of whom read Slashdot). So let's try something a little different: Since Bush and Gore apparently don't want to answer, you do it for them. If nothing else, your answers are sure to be funnier than theirs would have been, and we could certainly use a few laughs to liven up an otherwise bitter, almost entirely humorless election season.

Today we have Ralph Nader's -- or at least his staff's -- answers to your questions. And, as a little bonus, one Slashdot reader's question we sent over to WebWhite&Blue (at their request) was answered by both Gore and Bush, neither of whom has yet seen fit to answer Slashdot questions directly.
