wowbagger's Journal: BOONG-GA BOONG-GA

This entry is in support of a story I am about to submit to Slashdot. That way, if the story is accepted, my poor ISP won't get slashdotted..

First, go read this article on The Register. It reminded me of an old joke..

A missionary priest and his assistant were in the jungle, when they were captured by a band of natives who were quite happy with their current religion thankyouverymuch. The two men were bound and dragged before the Chief.

Booms the Chief: "You have offended our culture and our gods with your words and actions. Our laws offer you two choices: Boong-Ga Boong-Ga or death. You, young man - Make your choice!"

The young man figures that he knows what death is, so he chooses Boong-Ga Boong-Ga. He is immediately dragged to the middle of the villlage, stripped, and sodomized by every man in the village.

Afterword, the Chief says: Your offense has beem cleared. Take your clothes, leave our land, and NEVER RETURN.

You, old man - Make Your Choice!

The missionary says "What you have done to my aid is an affront to my God. I don't fear Death - I shall go on to my reward."

The Chief smiles, and says: Then DEATH it shall be: DEATH BY BOONG-GA BOONG-GA!

Actually, when I heard the joke it was booloomabooboo which I think sounds funnier than boong-ga boong-ga, but....
