Journal: Why I'm here

There was a time when I came to /. primarily to get information and discuss it usefully, but over time I became more and more obsessed with "5, Funny". Yes, that is what I'm here for. I do get information and occasionally participate in (hopefully) useful discussion, but that's all secondary to the real trophy. The worst thing is not to receive an "Overrated", "Flamebait", "Troll or "Redundant" (though the latter is pretty bad) on a "funny" post. No, the worst thing is to receive a vote for "Insightful", "Interesting" or "Informative". How depressing.
