If i remember correctly, Microsoft lost the rights about Xenix. In the agreement Microsoft transfered ownership to the old-SCO and gained 25% of the old-SCO.
Later Xenix turned SCO Unix, and later on was sold to Caldera (who turned its name to SCO, and is one of the most hated companies).
