Well, even longer time no see. Ah well. On the computer side, we now have the following: AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 512 MB DDR PC2100 Crucial Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe ATI Radeon 9600XT Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS (New addition) Maxtor 40 GB HDD Western Digital 40 GB HDD SE Aspire 500W PSU other random stuff... Soon to arrive, an AMD Barton 3200+...yeay! This will be my last 32-bit CPU, so dam better make it a good one. RAM I wanna replace with some crazy fast Corsair DIMMS. I have bad Karma. Well fuck...I don't really care. The mods hate me...the world hates me :P. Not really. I still don't have a proper job, but i do get the occasional work to do, so things are looking up. I'm lonely, and my cat is dead. *Sigh*...perhaps its time to embark on another get a GF quest and miserably fail. Ah well..it'll help pass the time till the end of the summer. Well, its been a while. And so I find myself lonely on Easter Sunday, so I have decided to write a bit. I have a new graphics card, an ATi Radeon 9600 XT. I also got and lost a GF. And some other shit happened, blah blah blah. I know this journal entry is quite bland, but whatcha gonna do. I feel like shit. I wanna die...but I know I won't. Fucknuts.

Well, I have no idea what I was smoking when I wrote the previous journal. Either way, I did not end up getting the MSI, but a lovely Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe. Beatiful motherboard, it has so much stuff on it one could go nuts. 6 USB 2.0, 2 Firewire, Dual Gigabit LAN, Raid, nVidia Soundstorm Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio... and it keeps on going. Finally a decent board. I also bought a Thermaltake Extreme Volcano 12, to go with the mainboards nice overclocking features. Now I just have to unlock the multipliers on the bloody Athlon, and we can finally go past 1.53 @ 1.70 But it was still one hell of an overclock. Currently, as it stands, for every MHz increase on the external clock, I get 11.5 MHz total increase on the total speed. Not bad. I also need to get underglow neons for my case, the blinkenlights inside the case are not enough!

FUCK YEAH!!! THE ECS IS GONE....THE ECS IS GONE....ALlright, I'll calmd down. It is being replaced by a beautiful, new, MSI K7N2 Delta-F DDR 400, with an nForce2 chipser. w00t!!! Thats all for today, quick shout. Either way, I didn't get the job, but fuck that. RB is still a cool store yo, but I'm an incompetent idiot. Instead, I am now a Killer Coding Ninja Monkey...beware the wrath of the box!

Well, RB Computing wanted to find someone by...today. They didn't call me, so I called them. Apparently all the applications have not been considered yet...but there have been interviews and all the other crap. But I wasn't one of the few people that got an interview... sigh. I know a few other people that have applied, and they do have better references than me. I never thought I would get the thing anyways. It sort of sucks... every fucking job I applied for never called me back, and the one job that I called, told me to wait, and pretty much hinted that I would not be accepted. FUCK FUCK FUCK. Well...I have no idea what to do. Everything over the last couple of months happens to be a dismal failure. This world, this meaningless existence, and this whole fucking life suck. I wish I would just die, since at the way things are going, my entire life could be likened to riding a runaway, out of control mine trolley to hell.

Yeay... RB Computing has a job open, and they are looking specifically for a student to work part-time. If I manage to land this... life will be good again. If not, I will most likley kill myself. I will probably either go by opening a PSU and randomly showing my fingers inside, or by carbon-monoxide poisoning. Probably the 1st way... I get to be with my computer to my last dying breath...ehehehe. Or maybe i will cut by veins with a sharpened edge of my dead radeon... I killed the card and it gets to kill me. It should be pretty nice

Happy New Year... aww man. Who the fuck am I kidding? Lets face it... unless you happen NOT to be stuck at home with idiot parents, New Years sucks ass. So what did I do? I played NFS: Underground for 9 hours straight and I talked to random people. Underground is a great game... I love the way it never becomes boring. Great music, great cars. This is the only racing game that I managed to beat, and then keep on playing. Its just too dam fun. I also have Pro Race Driver, but the whole beat the game thing got a little tedious, so I'm gonnad drop it for a while. Thats all for today I gues.. just a brief shout. Still trying in vain to find a GF...the should have warned me bout problems like these before I started walking the path of the geek... too late now lmao. I don't need sex... I have my computer!!! (No, I don't really mean that)

Well, I've been reading over my last journal about the GeForce 2, and it sucks. I used "It should be fun" twice in one sentence... so its sounds like person who wrote it was stoned. Or maybe i just have a problem with English...I don't know. BUt now when I look back on it, I realize that I never really liked it as a language. ITs... disorganized, and uterly random. Look at the way we write words and read them. C and K sometimes have the same pronounciation. How does that make sense? It is a total waste. What languages do I have to compare English agaisnt? Several, but I'm going to focus on Slovakian. I always liked Slavic languages, just because of the way they were...organized. The grammar may be hard as hell to learn, but once you get it, you got it. The pronounciation is easy and simple. Every letter has a sound, and to pronounce a word, you just say the letters as they are written. And voila... here we go. English is not going to be a fun class next semester.

Well, the GeForce 2 may have appeared to be sucky, but it packs a surprising punch. I can play Underground and Call of Duty, therefore me = happy gamer. Gonna go to a LAN on Monday and Tuesday, see if I can steal a nice, shiny new Radeon off anyone (just kidding). Ah well. It should be fun, we're going to have a 1 v 1 DoD sniper battle in dod_avalanche, and I know the map like the back of my hand. It should be fun

Christmas... yeay. Its really loosing its appeal. Lately, I've been convinced that my ECS K7S5A motherboard has been cursed by Satan himself. Why? (although, if you're really a geek, you should not be asking this... ECS *shiver*) Its about reached the limit of its upgrade path, only one out of four USB ports work, it randomly keeps on resetting itself, it won't let me overclock, and the heatsink is just but ugly. To rectify this, I wanted an MSI-KT4AV for Christmas. Instead, I got a book about cars, and LoTR: Two Towers Extended Edision DVD. I'm not complaining, but I still want the dam mobo. What else did I get? A brand new pair of Elan Skis with Salomon bindings. Very, very nice. However, I still would have preferred a new graphics card. Right now, I'm stuck using an ATi Technologies Mach 64 (4 MEG), and an nVdia GeForce 2 MX (YUCK) 400 (64 megs memory). So...Christmas was pretty good, but its still not what I wanted out of it. Ah well, time to save up for new mobo. Must overclock....

Well, today just plain sucks. My trusty Radeon 9000 Pro 128 MB DDR kicked it today, because of an extreme overclock and me doing a shady job of replacing the cooling fan. :( . When I look back on it, I wish I had not overclocked it, but now it is too late. I'm stuck on my venerable ATi Mach 64, so no more NFS:Underground for me for a while. On a brighter note, RBC has an Asus Radeon 9600 XT for 278 bucks. Now I just have to get the 278 dollars.
