jawtheshark's Journal: I've been dry for 6 months

Actually it's been six months and three days, but who's counting, eh? i'm not going to the AA (I really don't need religious nutjobs for that, because that's what they are.) but I a seeing a psy specialized in it. Basically, I always drank too much, but I was sliding into oblivion with the fucked up situation I had last year.

Stopping wasn't as hard as you'd expect... The psy said he rarely sees it that people stop cold turkey just like that. Perhaps he justs says that to encourage me, or he doesn't really believe me when I tell him I didn't touch any drinks. I don't care, I know how it really is.

So, if you ever hoped to go out for a beer with me.... I guess, that's never going to happen. Sorry...
