Braaavo...So, it looks like the messiah complex is really kicking in now. You seem to be under the impression that if it weren't for America, we would all be pulling ox carts through the streets screaming "bring out your dead". You would like to think that America's/Europe's great military might with all its WMD's is what's saving us from tyranny. Got news for you there pal. It's NOT the WMD's that's saving us. It's WMC's, weapons of mass communications that's slowing, and might reverse the march towards fascism. The damn lefties with their cameras and microphones, daring to show the truth. Even Hitler wouldn't get far in this day of instant and open communication. Reagan's SDI didn't bring down the Soviet Union. It was bootleg satellite dishes and good old "decadent" Hollywood that did it. Charlie's Angels and Daisy Duke won the cold war for us, with a little help from Knight Rider. It was their loss of control of the information that entered the country. The internet will do the same to China and other authoritarian countries.(It allows me to continue to "poison" your journals with actual evidence.) As hard as they try, they will never be able to control it without shutting the whole thing down. Let's see how far that gets them. The only way to win against WMC's is if you build an ark for "friends only" and flood the entire planet with nuclear radiation. But, then who's going wash your clothes and pick your cotton? The clones?
I saw on the news today, that ol' boy George Tenet(sp) took the fall for the "Grand Pubah" and resigned. Hmmm...trouble in paradise? And it looks like the Austrailian people have a chance to vote for real change in their policy. I sure hope they're up to the task, and that they see through the facade like the people of Spain did. That goes for everyone that has a chance to vote this year.
The truth indeed shall set you free, or it could kill you. I sincerly hope for the former.
