Me too, and since the Archos 101 is fairly inexpensive he could just buy it now and if he really uses the tablet a lot buy himself a Honeycomb tablet in 6-8 months. I plan to do the same if Honeycomb really can't run on the Archos 101 and the prices for Honeycomb tablets are good. I think with all the competition coming up you could get an Archos 101 now and a Honeycomb tablet in 8 months for a similar price you would pay for the Galaxy Tab now.

Isn't h.264 the only one of those two that has hardware acceleration. When you want to deliver high quality video on a website for many and even smaller devices it makes a lot of sense to use the format that can be decoded by available hardware decoders. Modern mobile phones can decode h264 in hardware, so can even low-end CPU Netbooks. H264 sounds like the obvious choice for internet video to me.

IANAL but I had about two or three cases where friends got into that trap as well. Well, although this is legally binding in Germany there is something called the "Widerrufsrecht". Your friend should send them a formal letter (by e-mail, fax or postal mail) in which she says that she is using here right of the "Widerrufsrecht". The nice things about these scam sites is that while they make use of the EULA and legal agreement they posted on their page they also have to respect these laws as well. This worked for all my friends that had this issue. Should work for your friend as well!

Also referred to as Carlos Slim Helu, he is a widow with 6 children, and is 66 years old. The story in the Forbes link outlines his wealth as follows:
Latin America's richest man added more than $6 billion to his fortune this year. He sold off his stakes in MCI and Altria and used the proceeds to up his holding in Saks Inc; in his fixed line operator, Telmex; and in America Movil, his flagship wireless telecom outfit. The latest was a particularly smart move as America Movil's stock has almost doubled in the past year. He also owns 71% of a new public company, Impulsora del Desarollo Economico de America Latina, which he spun off from financial services giant Grupo Financiero Inbursa. Inbursa also invested in a start-up budget airline called Volaris. An art collector, Slim houses his Rodin sculptures in Mexico City's Museo Soumaya, the museum he funded and named after his late wife. His Grupo Carso is reportedly a combination of his first name and his late wife's.
According to the Guardian's story, one of the reasons given for Bill Gates falling to second place is that he is rapidly becoming as well known for giving his money away as he is for accumulating it. I would say that the wealth that Carlos Slim has accumulated is spread over a diversified portfolio, and his management of his holdings indicate that he is a careful and timely investor, apparently paying close attention to market conditions. Carlos Slim did inherit some of his fortune, and undoubtedly is thinking of his 6 children, most likely wanting to make it possible for them to continue the investment empire that he has developed. One would wonder if Bill Gates losing the top spot in the Forbes list has anything to do with the lackluster sales and performance of the long awaited Windows Vista operating system, a key Microsoft product, or due to the fact that the Gates Foundation is simply giving away more money than Mr. Gates holdings in Microsoft can generate revenue."

The site has been down for "maintenance" a few times before, each time leaving people to speculate that it was an actual shutdown. However, with legal options rapidly disappearing and virtually no payment options remaining perhaps this time really is the end for the beleaguered music site."

Walter Haut had signed a sealed affidavit prior to his death last year asserting that he had witnessed the wreckage of an egg-shaped craft and its extraterrestrial crew while working at the Roswell Army Air Field. An article at News.com.au reviews how Haut had worked as public relations officer for the Roswell base and was involved in the original weather balloon explanation of events at the time. Among the new capabilities will be GPS and expanded WiFi capability as well as the ability to sync with email servers. The new iPhone is said make its debut in January 2008 at Macworld San Francisco."
