Who gives a shit whether you buy it or not? Until recently, I didn't even visit the anti-slash site until someone pointed out they were discussing me there. I figured they were just a bunch of kooks.

However, because people consider my name offensive to their sensitivities, I get modded down troll for it. Then along comes someone like you who is too cowardly even to post under a nickname. And I should take you seriously?

My mistake was in thinking that people here are intelligent and are willing to see my nickname and signature for what they are -- a political statement against the current administration.

It seems that somebody has a jihad against me and has marked perfectly good posts down as troll, simply based upon my username. So given that this account is next to useless, all I have left to say is fuck all you idiots, your site blows. This experiment has demonstrated that censorship is alive and well on Slashdot and that closed minded thinking wins out every time over reason. I started out thinking that people here are intelligent and that those anti-slash guys are total morons. Now it's starting to look like I got it all backwards.

What's with the censorship on Slashdot? I notice people are modding my posts down simply due to my username and/or signature. I can only hope their uppance will come in meta-moderation.

People: judge my posts based on content, not on whether or not your particular sensitivities are offended by anything else. Censorship is appalling in a free society. We might as well be living under the Taliban rule if that's the case.
