An article posted by ABCnews is about a Professor from the University of Tulsa and two of his former chemical engineering students that have constructed thousands of tiny batteries, each of which can deliver up to 3.5 volts. How tiny do you ask? So tiny that 40 batteries can actually be stacked across the width of a human hair. "These batteries aren't going to drive a flashlight because they are so small," says Dale Teeter, the University of Tulsa chemistry professor who is over the project. "There's an incredibly tiny abount of energy involved, but if you have an incredibly tiny device the device will function for the period of time it needs to."
