Attorney and Software Developer: Began development on desktop systems for individual use in 1972. Open first law office in 1974. Used accounting, word processing and tax software written from scratch. Founded timesharing company in 1978 to focus upon commercial and personal accounts. Also developed a number of consumer oriented services (pre-dating the internet) that offered online purchases of a complete line of office products, email, instant messaging and others.
