Journal Interrobang's Journal: "Moscow snow sticks and squeaks."
Weather like this makes me think of the immortal Eloise In Moscow , which contains the line (as in the header), "Moscow snow sticks and squeaks." The snow outside is sticking and squeaking, all right, and it doesn't take a flotilla of "IN SOVIET RUSSIA" trolls to put me in an Eloise state of mind.
Well, today answered the eternal winter questions, which is to say, not if I'm going to fall, but when, where, how often, and how much damage I'm going to do to myself when I do. The answers are, this morning, into a snowbank, just once to date, and none that I notice, respectively, except for having been freezing cold all morning despite the space heater. I really ought to get myself a walking stick or some similar implement (I am not going to call it a "cane")...but that would be pandering (to the CP). Ataxia sucks!!! (Spastic quadriplegia also blows diseased goats, but it doesn't necessarily send me plunging face-first into snowbanks every winter.)
Hmm, this sounds like a subject for a lengthy takeout, so maybe I'll post this now and get back to y'all later.
