CmdrTaco's Journal: Bad Hardware Karma

I know full well that each of these hardware failures is an independant evil. My DirecTivo died in december: purely a software problem that Sony fixed. My DVD Player died yesterday- it refuses to play any discs any more... it is several years old, and I watch a lot of DVDs so that isn't surprising at all. But today my other Tivo has come up dead. Well, not dead. Fried modem. It stopped dialing out about 10 days ago.

So once again, I am down a tivo. And this makes little Rob very sad.

In more positive news, the Zoo system has been functioning nicely for several days now. The next baby step will likely be online fairly soon... and in a few weeks, the real point to Zoo should come up. I'm really looking forward to it.

In other news, our AvantGo support will probably be going away. They want us to pay them for letting them scrape and redistribute our content. Just nuts.

Ah well... time for dinner.
