Journal Allen Zadr's Journal: Metlin's Journal - Successful Frivelous Lawsuit

Steering responses to the originating journal entry:

I have often defended our civil law system. I've often written in your Journals, and occasionally in stories about how well our system of law works.

Teens' cookie deliveries crumble into $900 lawsuit

I want everyone to know that I'll never defend the US civil law system again. I was wrong, and I'm sorry. I am now simply pissed off by the injustice of this. If this lady has problems with anxiety, it's not the fault of these girls. Worse, because it's small-claims court, there's really nothing these girls can do, and there's nothing they can afford to do. Every option available... paying the damned medical bill is cheaper. All because some asshat judge decided that it's reasonable to think that knocking on a door after 10PM is miscreant behavior.

The poetic justice of this is that for the next year or two - the local kids will likely make it a tradition to leave bags of defecation on Wanita Renea Young's door-step, likely on fire, ring the doorbell and run. She'll get over her anxiety attacks soon enough.

UPDATE: I saw two more stories about this, and it seems I'm not the only person pissed off:
Cookie girls won't have to pay fine, Station raises money

There's a nice picture of the girls with their "deviant wares" here:
