Journal Journal: I finally know what's wrong with Wikipedia!

Yay! I finally realized what the problem with Wikipedia is. Why there are edit wars, why there is no respect for expertise and the many other problems.

It is due to the lack of notation. Notation is not required in Wikipedia articles. However, it could easily be made a rule, that any bit of information entered should refer to some material. Any material without notations should be clearly marked as personal opinion or the ramblings of some madman or whatever.

This would finally fix Wikipedia!

Journal Journal: People are dumb

Someone complaned about my comment to the Challenger disaster and social conflict in the 80's and got my comment moderated from +5 to -1 flame bait. What a dumbass, especially considering his rather ill-informed critique.

Journal Journal: Degrading comments

My comments have degraded from witty observations to simple silly shouts from the sidelines. I need to start reading posts again.

I did think the article on internet newspapers sucked.

Journal Journal: Isn't it ironic?

My dumbass OT reference to an annoying Alanis Morisette song was modded up +1 funny. Why? WHYYYY?!?!?

Journal Journal: Trolling on the Iraq war

Well, I decided to troll a bit, since my karma was so good and write a few comments on the Iraq war. Got a few replies, thought they seemed to degenerate into manic rants on how America is bringing democracy to Iraq.

Oh well, since the only people reading it were fanatical supporters of war, it didn't seem very usefull to start a flame war on the matter.

Wrote a comment on the Patriot act post, and got an immediate reply about the assassins, should have expected that. Luckily someone corrected the commentor before I had to so I don't think I'll comment.
