It looks as though Google now allows you to customize time. This April Fools day they even managed to include a flux capacitor to get around the Grandfather paradox.

Via: Weberence The US Library of Congress vast photo archive is set to be available on FlickR in an attempt to get the public to comment on the pictures and perhaps provide further information. The archive has more than 14,000,000 photos.
This move called "The Commons" is also a call to the world community to give access to countless files and records from all organizations in a common effort to preserve information and historical evidence.

As described in a patent application called "Detachable Housings for a Wireless Communication Device ", the mobile phone has two detachably connected housings.
One of them can hold user interface devices such as keypad, keyboard, touchpad, joystick control, etc; for data input and control. Other things, such as GPS receiver, microphone, camera and battery go in there, too.

Companies are paying a lot of attention to securing their networks against malicious attackers and other threats, but some still lag in implementing similar measures for protecting data on desktops, laptops and portable storage devices. The most recent examples are Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and Georgetown University, both of which faced data compromises this month. A hard drive containing the Social Security numbers of nearly 40,000 Georgetown students, alumni, faculty and staff was reported stolen from the office of Student Affairs. The files include all undergraduate students enrolled from 1998 through the middle of 2006. They also include postgraduates enrolled during that period who were assessed financial transactions that crossed between the main, Medical and Law campuses, such as student health insurance. Of the approximately 14,000 students currently at the university, roughly 7,700 — around 55 percent — had their private information on the missing hard drive, Lambert said.

Engadget is reporting that apparently the Iphone SDK Key has been leaked early. "We're not exactly sure how this all went down, but we trust Erica Sadun over at TUAW when she says that it appears that the iPhone's SDK key — which will probably be required by all "official" third-party apps — has been leaked. Two different sites currently have the key posted, but it's all just for show until next month, when the SDK hits for real — and the code is undoubtedly changed."

MySpace demanded that GoDaddy pull the plug on Seclists.org, which hosts some 250,000 pages of mailing list archives and other resources, because a list of thousands of MySpace usernames and passwords was archived on the site. GoDaddy claims its customers own about 18 million domains.
GoDaddy complied. In a move that Seclists.org owner Fyodor Vaskovich said happened with no prior notice, the company deleted his domain name — causing his site to be effectively unreachable for about seven hours on Wednesday until he found out what was happening and removed the password list.
