Submission + - McCain campaign protests YouTube's DMCA policy

Bent Mind writes: It seems that the McCain/Palin camp has fallen victim to DMCA take-down notices on YouTube. In a letter to YouTube, the campaign states "overreaching copyright claims have resulted in the removal of non-infringing campaign videos from YouTube, thus silencing political speech." The letter asks YouTube to create special accounts for political candidates that would by-pass YouTube's DMCA policy.

A full copy of the letter can be found at Lawrence Lessig's blog.
