I downloaded it and gave it a try, but I'm going to stick with DuckDuckGo. In my experience the results have been as good as or better than Google and if I don't find what I'm looking for, it also gives links to do the search in Google or Bing.

As a developer I could care less about Java itself. It's the new Cobol.

It's in an awkward spot. For anything high level I'd rather just use Python. And for the few cases where Python's not fast enough, it's easiest to jump down to C++ and write a module I can call from Python.

The best thing about this new release are JVM improvements for dynamic languages, which should help out projects like Jython, JRuby and Scala.

What skills? Setting up an LLC requires filling out a questionnaire and paying a $50-$100 (depending on state) processing fee. Most states let you do it over the internet. It takes like 10 minutes.

FWIW, there are situations where an LLC (or corporation) doesn't shield the owners from liability. I don't remember all the details, but it wouldn't surprise me if tax fraud was one of them.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a new language, but IMO Qt is what the C++ standard library should have been.

The C++ standard library and STL are terrible compared to the standard libraries of any other modern languages. Qt actually makes C++ programming fairly painless.

Is that a joke? There are a bunch of ad blockers for Chrome. My favorite is AdThwart. But the regular AdBlock works well also. They're at least as good, if not better, than the ad blockers available for Firefox, Opera, and Konqueror.

I never said that such a system would be easily achieved. Due to the stupidity of much of the human race, it likely never will. I do, however, think it would be a good system.

By only allowing those with worthless money (the people that don't have it don't necessarily not help society) to have possessions? By putting artificial limits on the amount of resources that could otherwise have been consumed? Odd.

That doesn't make any sense. If money is worthless then how did they use it to get possessions? Sounds worthwhile to me...

Second, if other people (aka society) really find those people helpful, then they (society) wouldn't mind voluntarily giving them money. The guy who fixes my car helps me out, so I give him money. The clerk at 7-11 helps me out, so I give him money. How is being a jobless bum helping me out? How is it helping anyone out?

Capitalism is convenient for the elite who want to get richer at the expense of everything else, convenient for corporations who want the government to do their bidding, and convenient for those with the power to help others in need to say "I can't help you, I don't have any money!"

Can you even explain what you mean or is it just mindless babble?
