Comment Re:Tiget Direct == Better Customer Service? (Score 1) 134

No, their customer service is still just as bad. Also, their website doesn't take orders all the time. I ordered a gift for christmas (Logitech Harmony remote) and it never got billed to my credit card. By the time I realized this, the price went up 20 dollars and their customer support wouldn't give me the old price. Newegg for life.

The only reason I would want to run MS Office in linux is for MS OneNote. Believe it or not this is actually a great piece of software for students and there is no FOSS alternative that comes close. The closest competitor is Evernote which doesn't run natively on linux either.

Prisons To Get Bottom Scanners 3

In an attempt to stop prisoners smuggling mobile phones into jail, Britain plans on introducing bottom scanners. Prisoners will have to sit on the scanners (chairs), called Body Orifice Security Scanners, which bleep if their subjects have a phone hidden inside them. The £6,500 chairs are going in 102 jails across Britain, and can also be used to detect drugs and weapons. The chairs are very reasonably priced when you think of the savings on latex gloves, lube, and anti-bacterial soap they provide.
It's funny. Laugh.
