Instead of paying Comcast to peer with them, they should be paying their provider Cogent for better peering across the board. Netflix is guilty of harming net neutrality. Not necessarily as much as Comcast, but Netflix certainly isn't helping by "caving in" like they have.

I don't understand. What exactly is the problem with going with the lowest bidder for bandwidth if they're, y'know...providing the bandwidth? If Cogent isn't doing their job then it's Cogent's responsibility to improve their peering or whatever. Not Netflix's.
