Level 20+ thorns was the best, especially if you could find a ton of gear that increased your health regen rate. I didn't need potions and I didn't even need to attack as the enemies simply dealt something like 600% damage they did to me back onto themselves. My health simply regenerated in a couple seconds. That was the best paladin I ever made. Basically Diablo would kill himself.

Interactive Computer Exhibits For Ages 3-8? 122

Johnny Mnemonic writes "My company has the opportunity to contribute to a children's museum in our area. We are a technology company, so I'd like the exhibit to be computer/networking related, and to raise the awareness and understanding of how the Internet, networking, and computers work. However, children's museums cater to a pretty young age group, 3-8 years old, so the the exhibit needs to be highly interactive, durable, tactile, and yet instructive of the concepts. Google fails to turn up any turn-key options, and, although the concepts are computer related, a computer-based exhibit tends to be too fragile and susceptible to withstand the rigors of 250 preschoolers/day. How would you design a display that meets these requirements and is still fun and educational?"

No, probably not in Canada either, except for maybe BC. Even then, I'm a current CS undergrad (in eastern Canada), and I wouldn't be caught dead with an $8.00/hr job. On my second work term, I was offer $20/hr+ and I didn't look outside of the downtown core of where I live. Moving to Toronto / Ottawa / Montreal / Vancouver, I probably would have got $30 or more.

I was playing around with my compiz settings the other days and I notice that something I changed manage to enable this effect. The focused window was not brought to the front unless you clicked on the title bar. I think after a restart it was gone though, which is a shame because I was thinking the exact same thing as you. Either way, if it can happen through some glitch / weird setting combination, it shouldn't be that hard to actually implement.
