Apple Pays Creative $100M in iPod Settlement

MistaE writes: Yahoo reports on a settlement reached between Apple and Creative Technology over disputes on file management patents owned by Creative and used in Apple's iPod.

Steve Jobs comments: "Creative is very fortunate to have been granted this early patent. This settlement resolves all of our differences with Creative, including the five lawsuits currently pending between the companies, and removes the uncertainty and distraction of prolonged litigation."
