Submission + - European Parliament rules sharing isn't illegal

andyteleco writes: Yesterday, 25/04/2007, the European Parliament voted in favour of a proposal to modify the EU Parliament and Congress directive regarding penal measures destined to enforce Intellectual Property rights. the directive finally establishes in Article 3 that the member states will be responsible of considering as a criminal infraction all intentional IP offences committed at a commercial scale, as well as complicity and/or incitement to these offences. According to Amendment 13, Article 2 of the directive excludes culpability of the acts performed by private users for personal non-profit usage. Read the entire text

Like the first three Warcraft games, it will be a real-time strategy game. There will be not one, not two, but FOUR different available box covers. The events of the game occur 15 years after the end of the Second War.

The site even notes "We are sorry, but we couldn't find any First Class tickets available. You can try searching in different times or dates for available First Class tickets". Which is probably just as well.

suka writes: "In a recent interview with the online edition of the Austrian daily Newspaper "DER STANDARD", Mono project-lead Miguel de Icaza pleads for a cooperation between Mono and Microsofts .Net: 'I think that the deal should include a technical Mono/.NET collaboration, and even go as far as Microsoft recommending Mono for all of their developers looking at migration'. The whole interview has some other interesting bits, like de Icazas thoughts on an open sourced java and infos about upcomping versions of Mono."

John stevens writes: Recently, a new search engine 'Younanimous' has been getting alot of attention from bloggers and searchers alike. It functions by taking results from google, msn and yahoo and using the already sorted results, then applying a voting algorithm on top, to further sift through the results. Other notable features are Blacklisting, Alexa and Pagerank per query results and alot more. The question here is- Can you effectively sort through googles existing results and come up with more relative content, or are you just mashing up existing data?

Kuan Yew writes: Two months ago Engadget posted pictures of a device they dubbed the Google Switch, a device that was allegedly co-designed by Google and Samsung. Recently, a technologist-turned-entrepreneur called Simeon Simeonov continued the story by suggesting that Google's acquisition of mobile services like Reqwireless and Skia were further hints of a Google phone in development. The question remains, however, is Google really developing a cell phone or is this all part of the great Google hype machine?
