Despite my severe dislike of Fox News' television programs and editorializing, I find the idea of dismissing them out of hand simply because of who they are to be disturbing.

Unless they're talking about politics. Then....perhaps.

Wait just a minute!!!! I KNEW, just KNEW that somewhere on this board there was someone I disagree with politically that actually is intelligent with critical cognitive skills. Someone who'll stand up and doesn't just follow the adolescent POP wave here. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. I'm going to add you to my...wait a minute....I already follow several "anonymous cowards". Which one are you?

My broadband works fine and if it didn't I have 3 or 4 alternatives to choose from. My God you people are stupid. I lived in a Country where access is controlled. You pay a connection fee every single time you log on, pay for the time connected and all of your surfing is monitored by the ISP which turns over its logs quarterly to the Government. You should push back from the keyboard once in a while and try living in the real world.

I'm sorry but your relationship is over. Your wife is hideously self-centered and from this corner, an objective viewpoint, she does not consider you as an individual worthy of any respect. This is common in Narcissistic Personality Disorder. She is incapable of viewing you as anything other than a support for her Mental Illness. To her you are simply a household appliance--one she will trade in at the drop of a hat if she feels it would be adventageous for her. She is using her illness to control you. The fact that you cannot express your emotions means that you are being psychologically abused. Over time, abused spouses learn not to speak up so they can avoid further abuse. Once in that position you lost any chance of ever having a healthy relatinship with your wife. Abusers do not change without becoming sober and spending years in therapy. She is not motivated to become a loving life partner for you. I'm sorry, but the longer you stay the longer you'll need therapy to recover from the abuse.

Submission + - Jim Cramer on the Street's Misinformation Machine (roughlydrafted.com)

An anonymous reader writes: RDM details how individual fund managers, analysts, journalists, and bloggers — all with their own independent motives — can rapidly spread fake news and manipulate billions of dollars of capitalization for the companies involved. Focusing on the Street, it highlights 'crazy' Jim Cramer's explanation of how 'financial desperation' justifies an illegal foment, designed to devalue successful companies like RIM and Apple. Fake news, seeded with bloggers or published by journalists specializing in sensationalism, trumps actual company performance and creates a new world of reporting where the news isn't reported, it's invented. Nissan Turns to Technology to Stop Drunk Driving 287

StonyandCher writes with a ComputerWorld story about new efforts by Nissan to reduce the danger of intoxicated drinkers through technology. A trio of new features installed in a prototype vehicle demonstrated this past week are designed to minimize the damage a drunk behind the wheel can cause. "The first [system] attempts to directly detect alcohol in the driver's sweat and gear shift lever. A second system in the car uses a camera mounted in front of the driver to monitor eye movement. If the driver is drowsy it triggers the seat belt to tighten and this movement will hopefully snap the driver out of their drowsiness or prompt them to take a rest. A third system monitors the path of the vehicle to ensure it's traveling in a straight line and not weaving about the road, as is common with a drunken driver."

I've had a lot of motorcycles and I have never needed a penis extension. The major problem with this bike is that you need a lot of acceleration to get you out of trouble. i.e., When the woman in the suburban talking on the cell phone looks directly at you, somehow doesn't see you, and changes lanes directly into you on the freeway. You had better be able to get the hell out of the way; screaming does absolutely no good. BTW I still can't find any cost breakdowns on the parts.
