Don't take it seriously The privacy policy, the contact us page — it’s all a joke. We came up with the idea of building a crawler like this and keeping the maintenance price under $300 a month. There was only one way to prove our theory worked — to implement it in practice. So we did. Now, we find ourselves with a big crawler. We knew what it did but we didn’t know how to use it. So we decided to make a joke out of it. That’s the beauty of jokes — you can make them out of anything. However, if you have a better idea — don’t hesitate to contact us.

Comment Deepak Chopra is a Penrose fan (of course) (Score 2) 729

Chopra also wants to create a woo equivalent of the Templeton Prize for this kind of crap. As others have mentioned - this is old news and something of a personal obsession with Penrose and requires numerous leaps of faith to follow. Penrose has been taken down by Victor Stenger quite some time ago - http://www.csicop.org/sb/show/is_the_brain_a_quantum_device/

Submission + - VPN to avoid MAFIAA

Anonymous Coward writes: "On 1:st of April new legislation will come into effect in Sweden. It will be possible for copyright holders to go to court and present "evidence" of copyright infringement. The court will force the ISP responsible for the IP-adress to reveal the identity of the broadband subscriber. I guess these kind of laws are already in effect in other places.
I'm looking to avoid such hazardous situation. Who knows what "evidence" they will come up with...

A VPN-tunnel to a country where such stupidity is not allowed might be a solution. My question is: Which country and VPN provider would be best to use?"
