What are you talking about? Windows 8 will run everything Windows 7 and before would run. Just because it doesn't have a Fischer-Price UI doesn't mean you can't use it with a touch screen. And developing for Windows 8 has the lowest cost of entry of any of the platforms, so it would be ludicrous to NOT develop apps that are desktop/tablet friendly for Win8 as well at iOS and Android.
It would be awesome if there were some way to send data without wires.
Actually, since DC relaunched with their new "52" event, part of the changes included ALL comics being available in print and digital forms on the same day. So it's everything, from Action Comics to mini-series that are available in digital form the same day you can pick it up at a B&M.
I don't know, it seemed to run just fine in Chrome.
Just because the ToS changed doesn't mean they're still not going to collect and sell all that data. Now it's just not in the ToS and they'll be a little quieter about who it goes to.
Does it matter which way they're stacked? If it's horizontal, you could just flip it on its side if heat becomes an issue...
In addition to the Momentus XT that several others mentioned, there is also SSD caching on Intel's Z68 motherboards allowing you to designate a 20GB+ drive as an automated cache of whatever data is traveling to and from your hard drives. The effects are quite noticeable and it seems like the system is pretty smart. Plus, it is done in software that is easily updated should a more efficient algorithm be found.
If Comcast sold the computers using their cable internet, they would sure as hell care if the highest profile computer wasn't available on their cable internet.
The current footage is of remade Mario levels, but the plan seems to be to release completely original levels with the finished game. That could be fun, but I don't see why they need to use Mario when they could just make a 2D Portal game with the same mechanics (Jump height, running speed, enemy types) as Mario and an original art-style.
Actually, bestiality is a correct spelling, but it's not so surprising that this list is missing alternate spellings.
Android 2.x is for smartphones while Android 3.x is for tablets. This difference in purpose means a number of core apps, like the Pic Gallery, are very different in design and features.
Why is that "retarded?" Why add an extra device to the equation when the whole point is portability? I think this idea is actually pretty "retarded" and backwards. The controller is as the the device.
Or, ya know, these devices will just soak up all the stuff that DIDN'T go to a receiver. I think you're really overestimating the impact. We're talking about a keyfob size device that when not being actively used, it is recharging via radio waves that are otherwise "lost."
Alright, so we don't put these devices in walls and on ceilings? I still don't see how these will require the reaction you point out. If these are installed in tiny devices (Like RFID devices.) and carried in pockets or attached to keyfobs, they're going to have NO effect on the interception of radio signals unless you stick a few around your cellphone. These antennas aren't being used to paint walls, cover windows or wrap around your laptop. I think you're completely missing the point of this antenna.
Always try to do things in chronological order; it's less confusing that way.
