Submission + - UK Treasury to not extend copyright validity terms

dotwaffle writes: "An independent review by the UK Treasury has found that copyright terms will not be extended from 50 to 95 years. Supporters of the extension to a 95 year copyright term included Sir Cliff Richard, whose work will start leaving copyright protection in 2008. A music journalist on the BBC said that it was a "blow to the industry"."
