So here we have spent huge amount of resources constructing advanced technology to send robots to mars to investigate if there's life there, only to have the evidence flown to us with a piece of rock.

I'm actually doing something along that line as it is, using gpg and small shell script. I've still been waiting to try out cpm tough, since it has built in password generation, multiuser support and some other nice features :)

I've been waiting to try out cpm (console password manager), http://www.harry-b.de/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=harry:cpm , for quite a while now. However, there's still no working version for me debian :(

How is this related to DRM? magnatune.com gives you the same service (download whatever you bought whenever you want, wherever you are) without DRM.

If you like complete control, and this is a OS X vs Windows argument, you should probably switch to a Linux system... If there's one thing I hate most about Windows it's the lack of control.

Like every other AI-opponent, the major flaw in your reasoning is, well the fact that you can't describe your reasoning. You can say "well, I group things into this and that", but you're only describing the experience of thought. Not the actual mechanisms behind it. Discussions like these tend to never lead anywhere, but no one knows how the mind works. We only experience it at a high level.

However, when the unpublished data is taken into account the difference between the effects of drug and placebo becomes clinically meaningless -- just a 1 or 2 point difference on a 30-point depression rating scale -- except for the most severely depressed patients.

I'd say that this part could be interpreted as "People resort to drugs against depression too lightly" That's what I thought when I read those words at least.
