Submission + - Gaim forced to change it's name?

Edam writes: According to the latest news on their new website, the Gaim project (a free, open-source instant messenger) is being renamed to Pidgin as a result of legal negotiations with AOL. It seems that AOL took a dislike to the previous name and have threatened to sue several Gaim developers. The 2.0 release of the newly named Pidgin is due release fairly soon.
