Comment Getting fit. (Score 1) 635

I would suggest changing you focus from 'staying fit at work' to 'get fit in general.' Work is not making you out of shape. Once you make up your mind to get fit, it isn't difficult.

1. Log everything the goes in your mouth. Everything. Gum. Coffee. Water. Cough drops. Vitamins. Get a very accurate count on calories. Alter the foods you eat to drop the calories to a normal level.
2. Ate lunch at your desk, then go for a walk for your lunch break. If you can't walk during lunch, walk for an hour before or after work. After awhile, you can change the walking to jogging. Take it slow to start.
3. Make the food you eat from ingredients/cut out processed stuff.

After a while, maybe start lifting weights. Squat, deadlift, pull ups, push ups, rows. Lot of compound exercises with weights. Start with an olympic bar and add weight when it is manageable. Look up from 5x5 program. They are easy to follow for people new to lifting.

I've dropped from 300 pounds to 190 in the last year. 3 days of lifting and 3 days of lift cardio per week, alternating weights and cardio. Rest 1 day a week.

It took me a couple drops to realize you can steer the drop pods. A lot of people are using them to get dropped way up in trees or weird spots on biolabs. I've pretty much given up on them and just use redeploy. Between this and Hawken, all my fragging needs are met.

The hardest thing about PS2 is getting past the first 15 minutes.

You make a character, pick a faction, then get dropped into battle. Active battle. You have a near 100% chance of dying as soon as you land. Enemy players will be looking for the drop pods and will instantly target and kill you. You then will be shown a map with places you can respawn. If you run outside, you have about an 95% chance of dying instantly.

It is very unforgiving if you are used to playing other MMOs.

Charter is so far the only game in my town I can get service with as well. I live at the end of a very long cable run and Charter can't give me anything close to decent internet service. Over about 8 service visits and dozens of calls, I got put on a 'needy customer' list where everything is deemed to be my fault first and will only dispatch people to look at the wiring in my house where there is no problem. I logged about a month's worth of cable modem logs filled with signal problems and they won't even look at them. I switched to DSL about 18 months ago and have had 0 problems. The only thing keeping me with Charter for cable is tree coverage, else I'd get some satellite TV provider.

Charter turns me into a bitch-fest.

I too had the same access from the Amazon IP address. I also use a relatively (I once thought to be complex) password. Maybe 10+ characters isn't good enough anymore. I've switched to the smash face into keyboard password generation method. Oddly enough, I can't log into gmail anymore and my face looks like a waffle iron.
