An anonymous reader writes: Microsoft and its OSS Lab releases a Windows Media Player Plug-in for Firefox: http://port25.technet.com/archive/2007/04/16/windo ws-media-player-plug-in-for-firefox.aspx This appears to be a new trend. Earlier this year, the Photosynth project (http://labs.live.com/photosynth/default.html) also released a Firefox plug-in for their tech preview.
