Last week at the National Conference for Media Reform, Dennis Kucinich stated that Fairness Doctrine may be reinstated. The Fairness Doctrine was an FCC regulation that required broadcast media to present controversial issues in an honest, equal and balanced manner. Romer!can writes: "Scientific American is reporting that today's publication of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences has announced that the 40,000 year old skull found in Romania does suggest a link between humans and neanderthals, speculating the result is from interbreeding. If that were correct, it adds to the evidence suggesting that human evolution is influenced by neanderthals. However, it's worth noting the Washington Post obtained comments from the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History which cast doubt on any link at all between humans and neanderthals."
