Have a source for that? Real time is used basically everywhere lives are dependent on the system responding properly. Its not like Google's car is using Android.
I don't understand... can you make a car analogy?
" Let the Content Eaters get their rocks off on their iPads and iPhones, "
And you know what he is posting this from how? It is entirely possible that the post was consistent assuming he is on slashdot from an iPad or iPhone.
The article actually addresses this and DNA is capable of lasting 1.5 to 6 million years.
Typical crap Slashdot summary pandering to the Anti-Cloning lobby.
What if it is sealed in a way that microbes, oxygen, etc can not interfere with it? Say amber, a tar swamp, a deep freeze?
No I did not read the article nor do I have any knowledge on the subject beyond that leaving a steak on a counter in 100 degree heat has a very different outcome than putting it in a sealed bag in a freezer.
North Carolina did the first one... something about tide levels.
Apparently Arizona did the second very recently.
"I'm tired of these motherfucking snakes in my motherfucking ass"?
The fun thing about your post is that depending on the collective schizo mood you could have been modded +5 troll or -1 insightful. No reason to hide behind anon for that.
Yes the core truth that iOS 6 Maps isn't perfect. See this is the humor... its not perfect, just as any other software vendor's apps are not. However for some reason Apple gets treated as the golden child perfect company which makes it that much funnier when they screw up.
Nobody laughs at the D student for spelling a word wrong... but it can be funny when an A student does it.
Make sense yet?
Which apparently leaves out the fact that lions certainly kill for non-eating purposes.
You are very incorrect. Lions, cats in general, are one of the few species that do in fact kill for reasons other than eating.
You didn't bother to explain why you feel Lions and Wolves are all that different in terms the previous poster made. The interaction between Lion and Hyena is very similar to those between Wolves and Coyotes. Additionally pack/pride interaction with non-members is similar. I have no idea where you get your information from but it is certainly not modern.
Possibly due to the tech constantly improving? A DNA test 10 years ago verse today verse 10 years from now could show very different things.
How is that all that different than a pack of wolves finding, stalking and killing prey?
I agree that Apes are intelligent, more so than canines, but this is a poor example.
That is a great strategy if there were no looming long term issues that would eventually affect those individuals. That is the point of government funding of these projects.
