That's exactly how I feel about Firefox itself. *Especially* since Chrome came along and Firefox blindly follows it into "remove all the options and buttons" land. I prefer Seamonkey.

I'm pretty sure the Power architecture was well ahead of Intel and AMD. Apple switched because IBM couldn't/wouldn't get the heat and power draw low enough for laptops.

The general public considers all of those things to be "tanks", but militarily, most of them are armored personnel carriers or armored fighting vehicles. I think some of the heavy, turreted models would rightly be called tanks if not for their modular platforms.

I've been using Mozilla/Seamonkey since 2001. It was the best browser then, and the best now, IMO.

I never cared for Firefox, it's always been a rebranded Mozilla with a worse interface, fewer features and fewer options. This is ever more apparent as Firefox follows Chrome into the simplicity abyss. Also, version numbers - I like them to mean something.

That's one thing people overlook...the USSR had a lot less money to spend and much more territory to cover, so they prioritized quantity over quality more than the US did.
