The IPv4 Address Report gives details on just how fast the available pool of IPv4 addresses is diminishing. Will ISPs be moving towards IPv6 any time soon? Or will IPv4 exhaustion become the next Y2K?

Wouter Bergmann Tiest writes: Rem Koolhaas and Reinier de Graaf from architecture firm OMA have designed the new Ras al Khaimah Convention and Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates in the shape of the Death Star from “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope”. The convention centre will include hotel rooms, apartments, offices and retail space.

An anonymous reader writes: Version2 (a danish newssite for engineers) has just reported that Dell will buy SLES (SuSE Linux Enterprise Server) from Microsoft.
Dell is also starting a campaign to hijack existing Linux users to SLES delivered by Dell (and bought from Microsoft).
