Markings on the papers indicate they were intended to be shared with Pakistan's government, and in the early years of the campaign, the CIA used Pakistani airstrips, the Post reports.
But there is a risk in separating Gates from Microsoft. "The concern is that with both Gates and Ballmer leaving, this may introduce uncertainty beyond initial reaction by active investors," says Al Hilwa, software development analyst at IDC. "One view of Microsoft is that there is a lot that can go wrong that still hasn't."
This para really worries me that letting Gates leave the company may leads to flip down of MS.... Hope everything goes will
A new molten salt reactor concept developed by US start-up Transatomic could change the face of nuclear power. The Waste-Annihilating Molten Salt Reactor has the potential to create energy from existing nuclear waste while enhancing safety and efficiency.
An article about Molten Salt Reactor explains about how it can be a face of new nuclear. Some very important facts I drew from this article.
270,000 metric tons of spent nuclear fuel are around the world right now. In the United States we have about 70,000 tons — that's enough to power all electricity in the country for a century.
From what I read the reactor can use enriched Uranium as low as 1-2%, this is the equivalent of left over Uranium from conventional reactors. The other super exciting about this type of new reactor is how much energy they can get out of the remaining fuel.
The other technology burns maybe one to three percent of a fuel rod; we burn up to 98%.
So let's say a normal reactor needs refueling every 18-30 months, I'm assuming that means a Molten Salt reactor which can use 32x times as much of the fuel potential could operate for around 32x the length of time without refueling; 32x 22 months = 704 months ~ 58 years between refueling which seems astounding.
I want your thoughts about this technology
