Submission + - People are living longer, with more disabilities than ever (washingtonpost.com)

skade88 writes: Worldwide people are living longer. Their lives are starting to look more like the lives of Americans, too much food is the problem, death in childhood is becoming less common etc... Yet with a population that lives through what would once have killed us, disabilities are starting to become the norm. Actually it was believed that the Texas Light Sweet Crude oil (which is what the "price for oil" references) was being held up to such lofty heights by large amounts of speculation. The Iran war cutting off the Strait never happened, Canada is producing a significant amount of oil, etc etc.

Fun fact, the trader who bought the first barrel of oil for over $100 did so because he wanted to have the first trade in history to do it. He sold it at a loss later in the day

You seem to be a perfect fit for any android phone that supports a mini-HDMI connection or one of those new-fangled MHL connection. The Samsung Galaxy s3 does this, has a quadcore 1.4Ghz ARM, a gig of ram. You can wireless connect a keyboard and mouse to the bluetooth if you want. Data will go on the 3g/4g connection, which will perfectly accompany you if you have an unlimited verizon plan still.
