Slashdotting doesn't really happen anymore.
I've seen the show in person, there are indeed people there laughing. It's no secret there are paid people mixed into the crowd to get them going. Very few sitcoms use laugh tracks, they use professional audience members.
I have an i7 laptop. I plug in a monitor, mouse and keyboard when I need to. I have absolutely no use for a desktop any longer.
I know the DirecTV app won't run. I've ran across a game as well.
Two year contracts are on the way out. AT&T is in the process of ditching them, T-mobile already has. Verizon won't be far behind.
